Quadra Island Recreation Society

Building community through recreation.

Facilities at Blenkin Park

Skatepark

A challenging new skate park was opened in June 1998.  It attracts skaters from near and far.  We would like to share information with you on how to fund raise and build a skatepark.

Tennis Courts

There are two tennis courts in  Blenkin Park, built and maintained by the Recreation Society.  The tennis committee holds fundraising tournaments in the summer.  The funds are used to maintain the high quality courts. Newly resurfaced Fall 2010, see pictures.

Basketball and Hockey

In the practice court, beside the tennis courts, basketball and street hockey are played on an informal basis.

Horse Ring

Accessed from the parking lot by taking the road to the right of the Community Centre as you drive into the parking lot.

Playground

We are in the process of upgrading our playground facilities to meet CSA standards. We would love your involvement with fundraising! Call 285-3243.
